The Sub-fund's objective is long-term capital growth. When selecting investments, the requirements of the legislation on occupational retirement, survivors' and disability pension plans (BVV 2) shall be taken into account, subject to the equity investments authorized limit, which is higher than that provided for in BVV2. The sub-fund invests, directly or indirectly, at least 65% and up to 100% of its assets in equities of companies worldwide and up to a maximum of 35% in bonds. The Sub-fund is also authorized to invest in real estate up to a maximum of 25%, through units of collective investments and real estate companies. Cash and cash equivalents are allowed up to a maximum of 20% of the assets. The Sub-fund may also invest up to a maximum of 15% in units of other collective investment schemes such as alternative investments, commodities, and precious metals, as well as structured products on commodities, precious metals, and their indices. Structured products relating to other underlyings are also permitted up to a maximum of 10% of the Sub-fund's assets. Without currency hedging, the Sub-fund may not invest more than 30% of its assets in a currency other than the Swiss franc (CHF).
